Discipline

What could you let go of, for the sake of your REAL freedom in Christ?

This word came to me this week. Have you watered your plants? my answer was no I don’t have time. I stopped the discipline of watering them when I started back working full-time. I’m still praying. I’m still reading the word, but for some reason, I stopped watering the plants and God says let’s look at this. this prompting made me think of is there anything that I’m hiding or avoiding in my responsibilities? the word discipline came up again. the Lord spoke through one of my coworkers recently and she sent me a screenshot of a book. She’s reading called water woman it’s talking about this Samaritan woman at the well. it just brought me to tears, and I didn’t know why. OK OK let’s get to the point if you don’t make time for God, even when life changes the fruit in your life will change. I noticed when I watered the plants that they lifted up and seemed like they were smiling at me in their own way I felt accomplished, and also I felt as if the Lord was showing me the route in this and wanted me to write about it. as I walk in this journey of learning to continue spiritual disciplines, I want to ask you a question what spiritual discipline are you working on? Is there one that you’re struggling with? spiritual disciplines, prayer fasting silence, solitude worship Bible study.

Heather and final question for this post this morning is is there something in your life that you’re hiding or avoiding from open your hands and invite Holy Spirit and ask him. I will get up earlier and go to bed earlier so I can make sure that the plants are watered during this time. I will speak to Jesus while he water them. what will you do different today if there’s anything that comes to mine, I pray that the Lord brings it to you in this moment and in this hour and on this day in the name of Jesus, amen
